DESCRIPTION:Tournament Date: June 12-13, 2026\nHosted by St. George Serbian Orthodox Church and SNF Lodge #223 of Canton, OH\nTEAM ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED WITH FULL PAYMENT BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2026.\nEntry fees are not refundable after the entry deadline. After this date, fees will then be declared forfeited. Entry fees are payable by check or money order to the SNF Athletic Fund. Please mail your check to:\n920 Poplar St.\nPittsburgh, PA 15220\nor email to snf@snflife.org.\nSNF also accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. You can pay by credit card through this site. Please note: a 3.30% processing fee will be added to all debit/credit card payments.\nRules and Regulations:\n\nAny Serb National Federation member may participate in the tournament, provided that participants were enrolled by the membership deadline (March 31, 2026). This includes all coaches and managers. All current SNF members must be in good standing through July 15, 2026, to be eligible to participate. The Serb National Federation may disqualify any member player if its officials decide that said member player’s participation will adversely affect the success of the organization or injure the morale of the event.\nEligibility: The eligibility age cutoff date for ALL divisions is June 1, 2026. Therefore, a player must not be over the maximum age of a division before this date to play in that respective division.\n\n40 and Over Division: Must be age 40 by June 1, 2026.Senior Men and Women Divisions: There is no age limit.\nIntermediate Boys Division: A player is up to and including high school seniors EXCLUDING any player who is older than age 19 at the time of the tournament.\nIntermediate Girls Division: A player is up to and including high school seniors EXCLUDING any player who is older than age 19 at the time of the tournament.\nJunior Boys: A player must not be age 16 before June 1, 2026.\nJunior Girls: A player must not be age 16 before June 1, 2026.\nPee Wee A: A player must be between the ages of 10 and 12 and must not reach age 13 before June 1, 2026.\nPee Wee A Girls: A player must be between the ages of 10 and 12 and must not reach age 13 before June 1, 2026\nPee Wee B: A player must be between the ages of 7 and 9 and must not reach age 10 before June 1, 2026.\nPee Wee B Girls: A player must be between the ages of 7 and 9 and must not reach age 10 before June 1, 2026\nWee Wee: A player must not reach the age of 7 before June 1, 2026.\n\n\nNon-Citizen Eligibility: Students of Serbian heritage who are not citizens of the United States or Canada, and are attending school in the United States or Canada, may be eligible to play in the SNF Annual Basketball Tournament. A $125.00 annual fee paid to the SNF is required along with:\n\nA valid passport from Serbia, Montenegro, Republika Srbska, or Bosnia and Herzegovina\nStudent Visa or I-20 form\nProof of health/accident insurance\nCompleted SNF Guest Application Form (available here)\n\n\nNon-Member Eligibility: Individuals may participate if they:\n\nPay non-member Guest Fee of $125.00 (up to age 18), or $250.00 (over age 18)\nAre of Serbian Heritage\nComplete the SNF Guest Registration here\n\n\nA player cannot be transferred from one team to the next nearest team, if his or her lodge is represented in the tournament, unless he or she has the approval of his or her team manager and the rules and regulations committee.\nTeam rosters cannot be changed once the drawing has been made.\n\nThe manager and coach of a team must assume full responsibility for the conduct of their team during their stay in the tournament city. Neither the SNF nor the local committee shall be responsible for any injuries sustained or any articles and equipment lost.\nEach team shall assume the obligation for payment of its own hotel accommodations.\nThe entry fees are as follows:\n\nOver 40, Senior Men, and Women Divisions: $450.00\nIntermediate Division\nJunior Boys & Girls: $350.00\nPee Wee A & B Divisions: $250.00\nWee Wee Division: $50.00\n\n\nPlay will be governed according to the National Scholastic Athletic Association rules.\nTeams must be on the floor ready to play ten minutes prior to the scheduled game time. A game will be forfeited if a team is not ready to play when ten minutes has elapsed after completion of the previous game or ten minutes after the scheduled start time of the game, whichever comes first.\nTeams are limited to twelve (12) players, one (1) manager, one (1) coach and at least one (1) Scorekeeper/Timekeeper. Note: Wee Wee and Pee Wee teams may have an unlimited number of players on a roster. A minimum of five (5) players must be present at the start of the game or the game will be forfeited. Four (4) chaperones per team must accompany all teams for the intermediate division and below.\nA challenge to the eligibility of any player must be presented at least three (3) hours prior to a scheduled game. The decision rendered by the SNF will be final.\nA player may play in only one division.\nIf a player, coach, or manager is discovered falsifying names or records in order to have a person participate in the tournament, they will be denied participation in any future SNF-sponsored event.\nAny player, coach, or manager who receives two (2) technical fouls in a game or is ejected from a game must sit out the next game. Fighting or physical aggression by a player, coach, or manager will result in immediate suspension from the tournament and possible bar from participation in future SNF tournaments.\nThe SNF will comply with all local laws and ordinances involving underage consumption of alcohol. Underage consumption of alcohol will result in immediate individual and possible team suspension from the tournament and possible bar from participation in future SNF tournaments. Property damage at the hall, hotels, etc will result in immediate individual and possible team suspension from the tournament and possible bar from participation in future SNF tournaments. Incidents of property damage will be reported to local authorities and prosecuted.\nAll players aged twelve (12) and above (Junior Division and above) must have a current Photo ID at ALL GAMES to verify name and eligibility. Coaches’ challenges will be decided before each game begins. Acceptable forms of identification include school IDs, health cards (Canada) or a state-issued driver’s license. Players in all games are subject to random ID checks by SNF tournament officials. Coaches and managers must ensure that all players have their form of ID present at each game.\nA game will not officially begin until all names and numbers for each player are placed in the official scorebook at the scorer’s table. These names and numbers must be verified by the official scorekeeper. If a game does begin without complete names and numbers, a team technical foul will be assessed for each player not correctly placed in the official scorebook. Each team will be responsible for entering names and numbers in the official scorebook.\nGuest Rules: Teams must consist of NO MORE guest players than SNF members.
