Mary Lou Kuhar (Sarapa), age 97, fell asleep in the Lord on June 11, 2025. She is survived by her children Michele, and Mark (Michele Lee); grandchildren Mira (Jonathan), Macy, and Marko; and her adopted daughter Lori. She was preceded in death by Dr. Marko M. Kuhar, Rudy, and Mary Sarapa.

At St. Sava Cathedral she was past president of KSS Sveta Petka, American Serbian Women’s Club, Principal of Church School, Church board member, SNF Lodge 108 treasurer, and Njegosh Choir Kuma. Mary Lou was also a past president of the Highland Band Boosters and Tuesday Skyland Golfers.

She was an avid world traveler visiting all inhabited continents.
