Stanoje-Stanley Savic, 86, passed away in Naples, Florida on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. 

He was born on December 30, 1938, in Belgrade to †Dimitrije and †Zorka Savic. Stanley was the

dearly beloved husband of Gordana, loving uncle of Jelena, Dusan, Marko, Danica, and Ana, and caring father-in-law of Marina.

Stanley’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by other family members, Kumovi, and dear friends in Serbia, the USA, and worldwide.

The Opelo/funeral service took place on Friday, September 19 at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois, where he lived for many years and was the president of SNF Lodge #124 “Obilich.” Burial was at Montrose Cemetery after which friends and family gathered at a Daca luncheon served at Café Beograd in Chicago.
